Bringing figs to life in everyday food along with local, seasonal ingredients. It's all gluten free but you wouldn't know it!
We started simply as Te Mata Figs in 2007 growing seasonal fresh figs, then we created our award wining range of fig products, and now we’re bringing them together in The Figgery Cafe & Shop.
Come join us at our cafe, enjoy great food, coffee and beautiful surroundings with your family, friends and colleagues, and of course stock up on all your favourite figgy products. We also provide catering services.

Luxurious french toast topped with fig & berry compote, crispy bacon, seasonal fresh fruit and whipped ricotta, drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with icing sugar. GF

Oven-baked salmon glazed with fig molasses, served on kumara rosti with caper cream cheese, pickled red onion, avocado, and fresh salad greens. Finished with a drizzle of caramelised fig balsamic and olive oil. GF

Fig molasses baked salmon, cold meats and cheeses with roasted figs, olives, roasted beetroot, baby gherkins, toasted walnuts and seasonal fresh fruit accompanied by our artisan bread and seeded crackers, hummus, pesto, dukkah, Caramelised Fig Balsamic & olive oil, Fig Paste and Salame di Fichi (almond or walnut).
